If it ain’t ‘Baroque,’ don’t fix it.
When people ask me how Korean men dress from a foreigner’s perspective, I always tell them that there are about 5 different looks that men generally subscribe to. At Baroque, we have a clear look: grunge realness.
Dominated by leather, black, white, and a sprinkle of beige, Baroque was everything we wanted in a grungy-steam-punky look - and more. As chunky boots and bare feel stalked the runway, we got our fill of clothes that were, for lack of a better word, cool.
The styling, both put together and nonchalant, painted the perfect picture of your impossibly cool friend who stalks vinyl shops in neighborhoods no one has ever heard of and frequents Yohji Yamamoto.
What the show lacked in vibrant colors, it more than made up for in silhouette and texture. You're definitely going to want to get your hands on the best leather jacket that Seoul Fashion Week has to offer.
